Your reward increases as you reach each milestone. Milestones do not stack — only the highest milestone you reach applies.
Your cashback is based on your highest-value eligible ticket.
If you bought more than one eligible ticket for that event, TicketBack looks at the single highest-value eligible ticket. For example:
- GA — KES 5,000
- VIP — KES 8,000
- VVIP — KES 12,000
Your TicketBack cashback is calculated against the KES 12,000 VVIP ticket. It does not apply to your full order value or multiple tickets. Tables and Corporate tickets are excluded from the cashback basis.
What counts as a referral?
- A qualifying referral is a new event customer whose eligible purchase is attributed to your event-specific TicketBack link and meets Tickoz's referral requirements.
- The person you refer must buy a ticket of the same tier as yours or higher. If you hold a VIP ticket and the person you refer buys GA, that purchase does not count as a referral — a VIP or VVIP purchase would.
- One qualifying customer counts as one referral, regardless of how many tickets they buy in that transaction.
- Table and Corporate purchases by the person you refer do count as qualifying referrals.
- Corporate buyers do not receive their own TicketBack link.
- Your own purchases, duplicate accounts and transactions created or manipulated primarily to generate rewards do not qualify.
- Complimentary tickets never earn cashback.
What happens after 10 referrals?
At 10 referrals you've reached the top TicketBack milestone: 100% cashback. But you can keep earning. For every additional qualifying referral after your first 10, you earn 10 Hype Bucks — KES 10 in Tickoz value each. There is no referral-count cutoff. Bring more people. Keep earning.

Referral rewards are subject to Tickoz's normal payment, transaction and eligibility checks. If a referred transaction is refunded, cancelled, disputed or reversed, any cashback or rewards generated from it may also be reversed.
